The sculpture is a bronze woman’s head, 4 meters high, 2.5 wide and 3 deep, weighing almost 2 tons, which celebrates the two primordial aspects of humanity, the intellectual and the emotional and was donated by the Giubergia family to city of Turin, is on display in Piazza Solferino.
Javier Marin was born in Uruapan, Michoacán (Mexico) in 1962. He studied from 1980 to 1983 at the National School of Visual Arts (San Carlo Academy) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Mexico City, where he lives and works .
