Hraschina meteorite (NHMW-Min A2)3D Model
3D scan of the 39 kilogram Hraschina iron meteorite, which is the founding specimen of the Vienna meteorite collection, the oldest in the world. Its fall was observed in Hraschina, near Zagreb, Croatia, on May 26, 1751. This piece of iron was first housed in the Imperial Treasury and in 1778 transferred to the Imperial Natural History Collection.
The Hraschina meteorite is Number 17 of the NHM Top 100 and can be seen in Hall 5 of the NHM Vienna.
