More model informationThis model was created to show the boney anatomy of the skull and the borders between the bones making up the neurocranium. The proportions of the skull were derived from a 3D scan of a real human skull specimen. This specimen was then ‘cut up’ and divided into individual bone meshes. The bones were then assigned a color and then merged together to create a sigle neurocranium mesh. This mesh was then joined with the mandible and teeth.
