This model was created to show the boney anatomy of the skull and the borders between the bones making up the neurocranium. The proportions of the skull were derived from a 3D scan of a real human skull specimen. This specimen was then ‘cut up’ and divided into individual bone meshes. The bones were then assigned a color and then merged together to create a sigle neurocranium mesh. This mesh was then joined with the mandible and teeth.
