Hürjet is an advanced jet training and close air support aircraft being developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc., equipped with a turbofan engine.

The aim is for the Hürjet to replace the T-38 Talon aircraft currently used as the jet training aircraft of the Turkish Air Force and to train combat pilots. Additionally, it is planned for the aircraft to replace the Northrop F-5 aircraft used by the Turkish Stars aerobatic team. Furthermore, there is consideration for developing a naval variant of the Hürjet that can take off and land on the TCG Anadolu and aircraft carriers in the coming years. (wikipedia)
