More model information

I took the 3D-model extracted from “Twilight Princess HD” and developed it for greensand metal-casting in 535/Almag (extremely strong & mind-bogglingly light) alluminum, as a Christmas gift for my brother; but my foundry friends and I may see about puting a few on the market as collectible cosplay props. Once I’m sure this pattern reliably makes a good casting, I’ll sell the download for backyard/hobbyist foundrymen to enjoy; in the meanwhile, ‘can’t sully my portfolio as a patternmaker-for-hire by just throwing it out there untested. It is minimally thin for greensand methods, therefore a tendency to coldshot seems like a fair possibility until then.

I left some of the impressions of the original model’s low-poly nature so that the end-product still looks like it’s in a video-game.....but in real life!
