The I. A. Johnson was an 84 ft scow schooner built in 1864 and carried lumber from Washington Island to Sheboygan then groceries on the return trip. The Johnson collided with schooner Lincoln Dall on September 23, 1890 about ten miles north of Sheboygan. It sank whlie being towed back to Sheboygan by the tug Sheboygan in 93 ft of water. It has been surveyed by WHS archaeologists. The site was photographed and model created by achaeologist Tori Galloway.
