I have modelled the main character from my recent browser game, Scrap City Scoops, which I made for the Gamedev.JS 2020 game jam.
This was a fun challenge! I haven’t done PBR texturing for a while, so I was a bit rusty (no pun intended), but I’m fairly happy with the end result. I used Maya to model, and Photoshop to texture.
Here is the original 2D sprite that this model is based on. I made some tweaks to the design e.g making certain parts more rounded, and going for a more realistic look to better suit the 3D medium.
