Ichnite from Red Fleet Track Site, Vernal, Utah, USA.
This site reveal several hundred footprints (Grallator/Eubrontes), varying from 4 to 18 inches (10-45 cm) in length (3D model 30 cm in lenght aprox)
Navajo/Nugget Sandstone Formation: Early Jurassic.
Who made the Tracks? The track are thought to have been made by a dinosaur named Dilophosaurus (This famous dinosaur is in Jurassic Park, it has two crest in its head). This earlier dinosaur was the main predator in this area.
You can visit this footprints “In situ”. We are depending on you to help us preserve this rare and special place.
