More model informationThis is the immediate context around the Idol Stone on Ilkley Moor. The motifs on this carved stone belong to the “cup and ring” tradition, which dates it to the Neolithic - Bronze Period. Three less obvious “cups” can also be found on surrounding stones, which has led some to believe this may be the remains of a cairn. Imagery captured in January 2012
