IJN Kuma - Model for 1/4000 printingYour model is disabled. For more details go to Edit properties3D Model
The Kuma-class was a class of light cruisers built for the Japanese Naval forces shortly after the first world war. 5 ships were built in total: Kuma, Tama, Kitakami, Oi and Kiso (all laid down in 1917) and saw service until the end of the second world war. Only Kitakami survived until the end and got scrapped not long after. Kuma, Tama and Oi got sunk by submarines, Kiso got sunk by planes of carrier forces. Due to their outdated design they got quickly beaten by destroyers and cruisers of the own and other naval forces, making them rather weak combatants.
This model was made by me with the help of the original recognition manual from the US Navy and features only the most important pieces of detail. I made this model for myself to produce a small fleet, and printed this model with my Resin Printer Elegoo Mars in 1/4000 with nearly no loss of detail. This is by no means a good model, but it is enough to be recognizable at such a small scale.
