Tile with IMP stamp (IMP short for imperator meaning emperor) with a foot print from the collection of the Carlisle Cricket Club to be curated by Tullie House Museum And Art Gallery. It appears as though the tile was stepped on while the clay was soft. The tile was found during a recent excavation at Carlisle Cricket Club, you can read more about that project here.
