In Dinosaur Park - Owl City fanart

“When the moment is right, under the moonlight things come alive…”

Animated diorama of a stylized and compressed Dinosaur Park, South Dakota. Inspired by the Owl City song of the same name from the album Coco Moon. For some reason the song resonated with me to an absurd degree, to the point that it eventually eclipsed every other track in the album. Here I attempted to capture the spirit and magic of the song in a cutesy diorama of confused looking archaic dinosaur reconstructions - I had considered modernizing the depictions, but I am not very good at that type of modelling yet, and they look more endearing the way they do in my opinion (and those of my friends).

Modelled in Blender, textured in Substance Painter as per the norm.

I want to clean up the rigging for each of the dinos so they can be used in other contexts, but by the time of release I have not done so. Probably later than sooner.
