A cast of the gorgonops Inostrancevia alexandri Amalitzky, 1922 skull. The cast belongs to the collection of the Saint Petersburg State University. A 3D scan was performed by Grigoriev Dmitry using a structure light based 3D scanner RangeVision Spectrum.

The cast of fossil skull (holotype) made in Paleontological laboratory in Warsaw (Poland) under the guidance of Vladimir Amalitzky in 1908-1914. It is currently held and exhibited at the Paleontological museum of Saint Petersburg State University. In 2020 the paint surface and nasal bone of this cast were restored by Ekaterina Ageeva under the guidance of prof. Vladimir S. Torbik (chair of restavration of SPbU) and Vadim Glinsky (Paleontological museum of SPbU).
