Intaille romaine

Modèle photogrammétrique d’une exceptionnelle intaille romaine en agate représentant l’empereur romain Commode. Elle est montée plus tardivement sur une plaque en or décorée de trois cabochons en pâte de verre. Époque romaine, IIe siècle ap. J.-C., musée gallo-romain de Biesheim (Alsace, France).

Roman Intaglio

Photogrammetric model of an exceptional intaglio made of agate and picturing the roman emperor Commodus. It was later mounted on a gold plate ornated with three cabochons of molten glass. Roman era, 2nd century AD, Gallo-Roman Museum of Biesheim (Alsace, France).
