The Japanese module on the International Space Station, also known as “Kibo,” or “hope,” is the largest module currently aboard the ISS. Many press events are recorded in this module.
Noteable external experiments on the module include X-ray astronomy, a calorimetric electron telescope for observing high energy, and a device which monitors sub-millimeter wave emission of trace gas molecules in the straosphere.
