The USS Intrepid (CV-11), also know as “The Fighting I”, is an Essex-class aircraft carrier built during World War 2 for the United States Navy. She served in many wars and underwent numerous modernizations before becoming a museum ship located in New York City. This model represents her mid-1944 configuration.
