There are a lot of people posting models with comments that their iPhone 12 “LIDAR” scans are faster to both capture and process than using photogrammetry. In reponse to these I had a think about how fast I could scan something via photogrammetry with an iPhone. I excluded video because of it’s poor image quality and instead went with a timelapse app to produce a rapid series of stills with exposure ramping.
