More model informationThis ironstone ceramic cup or mug was archaeologically recovered during excavation of a brick lighthouse ruin site that dates to c.1847 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The 19th Century piece is plain with no maker markings. Ironstone was simple, durable, and bright white. This plain piece is not very useful with dating of the site, but was a typical ware in use that corresponds with the known timeline for the first lighthouse structure at the Cape.
