Model work I have done for the personal project I named “Islands”. My main goal was to create a cohesive art style that is readable both in an isometric game view, with expressive silhouettes, whilst using a very optimized workflow and only color gradients, without any texture work being done.
I deliberately didn’t focus on the polycount, to really emphasize on the silhouette and details, achieved not through texture but through form.
