This is a model of the sailing canal sloop known as the Isle LaMotte Canal Boat. The vessel is badly damaged and mishapen, as well as covered with large amounts of acquatic weeds. The “tabernacle” for the vessels single mast can be seen just forward of the forwardmost hatch.
