More model informationIvory statuette of the pharoah Khufu, building of the Great Pyramid at Giza. This is the only definitive 3D depiction of Khufu known to exist. It was discovered at the site of Abydos in 1903 by Sir William Flinders Petrie during excavations in the Kom es-Sultan area of the site. Khufu’s name apprears in a serekh to the right of his right calf.
Currently in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo (JE 36143).
