IX: The Hermit

This model is my take on the Arcana tarot card The Hermit.

The story goes that this once-human man sought self-englightenment and wisdom within his own solitude. As time passed in his journey, he began to learn more in knowledge and in spirit. His trusty lantern and staff began to almalgamate with his body, he learned to generate several new limbs, each a milestone gained throughout his passage through a transcendental experience. Lonliness blighted this man, both for better and worse, as his human form began to dissintegrate, yet his knowledge reached beyond. He reached so far that his physical form began to crack, a new and evangelical form peeking through.
