More model informationThe 175 ft James C. King was built in 1967 as a Barkentine but was later conberted to a three masted schooner and eventually to a schooner barge. It was destroyed in a storm in 1901 while under tow of the W. L. Wetmore which is located less than a mile away. It is now broken and scattered off the shore of Russel island but is a popular dive site in the Fathom Five Underwater Park in Tobermory, ON, Lake Huron. The model was created from 2,374 30 megapixel RAW images shot by Andrew Goodman on one forty minute dive.
