More model informationA client asked for a 3d model that would be printable using a 3d printer.
The subject was James Tedesco - a Rugby player for the Roosters. The model was created using Zbrush exclusively. I initally used fibremesh for body, facial and head hair but these proved to be too detailed for the printer the client had. Following a test print the fibremesh wash swapped out for hand sculpted hair, whilst the body and facial hair was scrapped entirely - the model was destined to be painted after printing and was deemed unnecessary.
The model took roughly 18 hours to complete, including feedback sessions. There was also a round base with a support pole - hence the hole in the left leg.
