The 78 ft coastal steamer Jane Miller was one of the ghost ships of Georgian Bay until discovered in 2017. The ship was built in 1879 and served as an important commerce link for the Bruce Penninsula for two years until it sank near shore in Colpoys Bay in a storm, taking with it the entire crew and all passengers. Little wreckage and no bodies were ever found from the tragedy which gave few clues as to its final resting place. The site was closed to divers for several years while the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport investigated the possibility of human remains on the site. While no remains were found it is still a gravesite and a memorial to those who died in the tragedy. The model was created from 3,101 30 megapixel images shot in two 20 minute DPV dives by Andrew Goodman.
