Japan food Dinner3D Model
Samuri, food and the begging of Feudal Japan, these conflicting motifs seem dispirate but are deeply connected. When the Daimyo lost power and Samuri became the defacto ruling class, the shogun brought in policy and cultural changes which lasted 668 years right up until the Kagawaski treaty. One of these deep cultural changes are the food the ruling class ate
The ruling class’s boastfulness specifically around the gradious and gluttony meals they ate every night brought resentment and their eventual downfall. As such in spite of this the Samuri changed their eating habits drastically going towards the minimal. No longer was floundering your wealth acceptable and any Samuri caught in such an action was significantly disciplined
the style was meant to be a semi stylized and semi realistic. Trying to be a bridge between the two in food
