Jefferson Davis Monument

Erected in 1907 and located at the intersection of Monument Ave and N Davis Ave in Richmond, Virginia, this is the the most elaborate and controversial of the large statues that characterize Monument Avenue. Learn more about the history of Monument Avenue here!

The Monument Avenue documentation project is a collaborative effort between the Fairfield Foundation and the Virtual Curation Laboratory at VCU. The models were generated using a Phantom 4 Pro quadcopter and Agisoft Metashape photogrammetry software.
