Jewel Tower Cross Section 3D Model
An animated cross section of the Jewel Tower, Westminster London that reveals the interior rooms. The Jewel Tower is a surviving part of the original Palace of Westminster. It was built to house the monarch’s treasure and personal possessions until 1512. The ground floor has a beautiful carved stone ceiling and now houses the cafe, shop and entrance. The rest of the tower is a small and very interesting museum.
Date: 14th Century
Ground floor side chamber not shown as is now a store room for the shop and cafe. Roof not shown as could not be captured.
Photos taken with an Sony Nex3 (exterior) (May 2013) and Sony a6000 (interior) (October 2019) and processed in Agisoft Metashape. Combined and cleaned up in Autodesk Maya.
