José Martí Sculpture

José Martí by Anna Hyatt Huntington stands at the southern entrance to New York’s Central Park at the north end of the Avenue of Americas. The 18 feet 6 inch scultpture stands upon a 16 feet 5 inch dark Barre Granite. The sculpture was scanned at high resolution in 2016 and the data was used to create a full scale replica of the sculpture that was installed in Havana Cuba in 2018. The data was captured using a combination of photogrammetry, high resolution lidar, and handheld structured light scanners.
