More model informationMade by Russian sculptor Nikolai Tomsky in 1950, this statue was unveiled in Tallinn on a green area opposite to the Baltic Station. After the death of the dictator and the De-Stalinization, the statue was removed probably at the start of the 1960s and stored.
After Estonia’s independence in 1990 the monument was brought to the Estonian History Museum and stand since then in the garden, along with other monuments of the Soviet Era.
