A medium quality model (here decimated to 1000k) of the 18th Century funerary monument of Josephus de Quadri, the second architect of the Alba Carolina Vauban fortress. Transferred in 1717 from Poland to replace Giovanni Morando Visconti, who died of the plague, he managed, in just 10 years, to build some of the most important monuments in the fortress, namely the First, Second and Third gates, among other buildings. He passed away, also due to the plague, in 1727, on January 14, aged 38. The monument depicts a winged Titan, most likely Chronos, with a small angel figure at its feet. The monument was erected in the former Bathory church, demolished in the late 19th Century, and now awaits restoration in a lapidarium. Alba Iulia, Alba county, Romania. The model was created from a total of 117 photos obtained using a 28 mm lens.
