The ship entered service in Polish Navy in 1965. In 2008 it was cleaned, emptied, and then sank in the Baltic Sea near Hel town, Poland, as a diving attraction. Even though it lies in shallow water, 18 meters maximum, the model was very demanding, as the ship has many interiors, and I wanted to scan them all. You can imagine it’s a hard work in such tight spaces, and with sediments rising up immediately after going inside, but the effect is really good. You can literally swim through all the interiors. The model was created from almost 15 000 photographs.
