The main goal of my last project was to model a game-ready 3D asset which is texturized and baked in Substance Painter and then rendered in Unreal Engine 5. My asset is a bubble cup themed around a kabuki-style red panda mask with classic texturing on the inside of the cup. The reasoning behind the classic texturing for the bubbles and drink was that it allowed me to save on performance and give the asset a sort of “stylized” look. This stylized look was largely based on the 2D concept I made before the whole 3D process.
