This was my quick take on Kaneda’s motorbike from the anime movie Akira.

It was based primarily on original concepts featured in an official artbook, although I did make a few minor changes to (hopefully) make it seem more plausible as a real bike. My main goal was to try to make it as close to a definitive version as possible – seeing as there are so many different interpretations of it out there (in both diecast kits and 3D form).

It includes toggle-able bodywork as well as a detailed front fork mechanism which can be set up with a basic rig so the handlebars can be raised and lowered.

All textures (apart from the windscreen) have been packed into a single 4k atlas.
