More model information2015-2016 Historical Preservation students at Mid-Pacific digitally preserved the plaque at King Kamehameha III’s summer home, called Kaniakapupu, built in 1845. Students identified the ruins as culturally significant because Hawaiian leaders convened at this site to make important decisions as well as host large luaus.
