(Kate's) Cove Cave Entrance

Imagine discovering a new cave entrance; one which nobody has ever seen before. This model shows the entrance of a cave that was discovered as part of our 2019 expedition to northeast Greenland. An ice pool lay across the immediate entrance. To the left we had to rig a handline to help us across the slippy floor (and prevent us from damaging the ice). Beyond the ice we went over a small lip of rock and then down a boulder sloper into darkness. This model finishes at the top of the boulder slope. Imagine standing looking into blackness and wondering what might lie beyond. The full model will come later.
