More model informationThe small 95 ft schooner Katie Eccles was built in 1877 and lost her rudder departing Oswego, NY. She managed to make it to anchor at Timber Island where the crew got off. She sank that night in 1922 and sits upright and relatively intact in 100 ft of water and is a popular dive site out of Waupoos, ON. The model was created from 1,621 images shot by Kayla Martin and Ken Merryman with help from Durrell Martin.
