Kerbstone 52 is a decorated stone dating from the Neolithic, located on the outer edge of the largest megalithic tomb at Knowth, Co. Meath, Ireland (ME019-030001-). It has been hypothesised as depicting a lunar phase cycle. In the centre is an anti-clockwise double spiral. This seems to be overlaid with a row of arcs which covers almost the full width of the face. Above this is a long wavy line (serpentiform motif) which runs parallel to the row of arcs. Along the curving top edge of the stone there is a series of circles. From left to right, there are 4 single circle, 3 circles with a double line, and then 3 arcs. On the bottom right is another arc that joins to a horizontal zigzag.
