King Magnus Helmet - 3d Printing3D Model
Medieval Helmet for 3D Printing (Scan-based Model)
This intricately designed medieval helmet showcases decorative grooves along the skull, with a distinct visor that extends into a sharp, beak-like shape. Originally crafted in Germany during the 1530s, the helmet is a fine example of late medieval armour. For many years, this helmet was mistakenly believed to have belonged to King Magnus Ladulås (d. 1290) and was displayed in Riddarholmen Church alongside a mismatched suit of armor. However, modern research reveals that King Magnus could never have encountered this piece, as it was made long after his time.
