King's Fountain Unicorn, Linlithgow Palace 3D Model
This unicorn carving, now missing most of its head, was created for the fountain at Linlithgow Palace, built by James V in 1538.
The elaborate tiered octagonal structure stands over five metres high and is richly decorated with stone sculptures proclaiming the power and superiority of the monarchy and its links to Renaissance Classicism.
