Portal of St. Catherine’s Church in Fahrafeld, a village in the municipality of Pottenstein. Documented in 1434 a chapel in Fahrafeld mentioned. At the Second Viennese Turkish siege in 1683, the sacred building was destroyed by the Turks and rebuilt in 1688. Since the chapel was dilapidated, Max von Ferstel renovated the church in 1888/89 and partially rebuilt it. 1974/75 was another renovation.
