Kisar Pyramid, Indonesia3D Model
The Kisar Pyramid (MAHS-IDN-MLK-MBD-PTS-S-001-F-0001) is a coastal landmark located on the crest of a hill terrace of exposed coral limestone near the southwestern tip of Kisar island in Maluku Barat Daya. It is a five-tiered structure of coral limestone. On the uppermost tier is a pile of tones and a concrete pillar marker from the Indonesian Geodetic Survey. It was built to serve as a harbor marker for the port of Nama, which is located less than 1km to the north. According to local tradition, when the pyramid was first built in the mid-17th century it had seven tiers to symbolically represent the seven villages on Kisar island.
