More model informationThis structure divides the Plaza Icim from the Plaza Yaxche at Kiuic. Its architecture is unusual in having a sloping, mansard-like upper roof, probably originally crowned with a three-part molding. It is probably fairly early and uses a combination of square piers and columns to support the doorway lintels. Originally there was another row of rooms along the back of this, probably also of 3 rooms. Some of the column sections can be observed in the rubble along the lower edge on that side. Generally lightly built, with low crude vaults.
