More model informationThis is the Klein quartic, a compact Riemann surface of genus 3 with the highest possible order autormorphism group for this genus. It is one of the Hurwitz surface and is isomorphic to PSL(2,7). Of course, this is a compact representation and hence all the symmetries are not visible here but they are in the hyperbolic space as a {3,7} tilling. Klein’s quartic occurs in many branches of mathematics.
