A recreation of a Kodak Brownie Target Six-20 Box Camera. For this project I had the opportunity from a friend to actually borrow and take reference from the physical object.

For the reference I took several photos of many different angles and key features up close. I then proceeded to measure out various sections and note them down onto sketches. I then transferred these into AutoCAD to attempt to get a really accurate recreation of the dimensions of the object.
After creating these defined AutoCAD drawings I then imported them into 3DS Max as splines to build a cage which I could then model to thus speeding up the process and increasing the accuracy of the final product.
When it came to the text, I ended up drawing over the front view photos I had taken in an attempt to recreate the original text found on the front. Texturing and material creation was done inside Substance Painter and Designer.
