I’ve been enjoying creating characters with a more streetwear vibe lately — so when I saw this artwork, I thought: this is it. That’s how Koi Boy was born. From what I understood, the 2D artist mac originally mixed a red apple and a fish to come up with the concept — haha, huge thanks to them for the inspiration and awesome art!

ARTSTATION The model was made without sculpting — just pure modeling in Blender3D. I baked the AO in Marmoset Toolbag, and finalized the hand-painted texture in Photoshop after working on it in Blender.

The model is available for free download in two different color schemes.
