The kitsune is Sayuri’s faithful friend. Growing up, Sayuri learnt to control the power that caused the great fire of the Hakama temple, in which her beloved grandma (the high priestess) lost her life: Kota has been her only friend since then, protecting her and helping to vehicle her amazing powers against the yo-kais who were constantly trying to conquer the Hakama temple remains.
