More model informationThe predecessor to the mk3, the first version of the Starliner SSTO was inspired by the Stearwing D45, and my loss of patience with trying to fly it to orbit. In addition to the similar wing design, it has an in-line docking port for optimistic pilots. But unlike the Stearwing, the Starliner is designed for carrying cargo into LKO rather than crew. It also features RCS stabilization systems, small solar panels, and many, many intakes. While they do look cool, the innovative forward-swept wings have a nasty habit of catching the air and causing, well, unintentional craft disintegration.
