Kuching Civic Centre (Dewan Suarah Kuching)

As one of the major landmarks of Kuching city, the civic centre offers 360° panoramic views of the city and its surroundings (there used to be a restaurant that operated at the top). Malaysia’s first planetarium, the Sultan Iskandar Planetarium, is also housed within this complex (the white domed building adjacent to the tower); is unfortunately also closed.

Although the buildings are mostly closed nowadays, this is still a popular place for sports and recreational that is regularly used by the public.
