Kukri Knife

This a Kukri knife that I made with the help of a tutorial. The low poly and high poly models were done in 3Ds Max, and the texturing was done in Substance Painter.

A Kukri/khukuri Knife is a Nepalese knife designed with an inwardly curved blade. They are similar to a machete. Traditionally these have been the basic utility knife of the Nepalese people. But many different groups of people have wielded the weapon throughout time. Some notable groups include, “the Nepalese Army, the Royal Gurkha Rifles of the British Army, the Assam Rifles, the Gorkha regiments of the Indian Army, and of all Gurkha regiments throughout the world, so much so that some English-speakers refer to the weapon as a “Gurkha blade” or “Gurkha knife”” - Source: Wikipedia
